On January 4th, 2025, our parish hosted the Carlo Night Vigil, inspired by Blessed Carlo Acutis, who will be canonized in May 2025. The event brought together people of all ages for an enriching experience of faith, worship, and community bonding.
The night began with praise and worship led by Rayan and Ravina Lobo, focusing on Carlo's deep devotion to the Eucharist. Deacon Rolwyn then led a discussion on the significance of the Holy Mass, helping attendees deepen their understanding of the Eucharistic celebration.
After a tea break, the second session continued with a deeper exploration of the Mass and its relevance to daily Christian life. At 11:00 PM, the event transitioned into a time of Adoration and Benediction, followed by the public veneration of Carlo’s relic.
While the main event concluded by midnight, the youth stayed for a special vigil led by Deacon Kenneth, featuring prayer, fellowship, and a bonfire jam session. The vigil culminated in the Holy Mass at 5:30 AM, marking the event’s end.
The Carlo Night Vigil was a powerful experience, leaving attendees with a renewed sense of faith and community, especially the youth, who gained a deeper appreciation for their spiritual journey.
