Introduction

The Judean Champions League 2025, a dynamic and spirited inter-parish football tournament, was successfully held on the 17th and 18th of May 2025. Organized by the Judean Youth Group to foster unity, sportsmanship and youth engagement across parishes, the tournament brought together 15 energetic and competitive teams from the community. This much awaited football event showcased exceptional talent, thrilling matches and a vibrant atmosphere filled with cheering supporters!

Tournament Overview

The tournament featured 15 parish teams competing for the prestigious Shining Golden Trophy, alongside attractive cash prizes — ₹25,000 for the winners and ₹15,000 for the runners-up. Over the course of two action packed days, matches were played in a League cum Knockout format, with each team giving their all in pursuit of the top prize.

The event was a celebration not only of football but also of faith, fellowship and fun. With matches running seamlessly and a large turnout of enthusiastic fans, the tournament served as a wonderful platform for community bonding and youth development.

Champions and Highlights

After a series of electrifying matches, nail-biting penalties, and tactical brilliance on the field, the team from St. Blaise, Amboli emerged as the champions of the Judean Champions League 2025. Their consistent performance, strategic play, and unmatched determination helped them clinch the Shining Golden Trophy and the winner’s prize of ₹25,000.

The runner-up of the tournament was St. John, Marol (A), who demonstrated tremendous skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout. They were awarded a cash prize of ₹15,000 along with the Runner up trophy.

Both teams received widespread applause and recognition for their outstanding efforts and sportsmanlike conduct.
