Sacraments
The seven sacraments encompass all stages and significant moments of Christian life, teaching and expressing faith. Catholics believe these rituals convey God's love and gifts throughout life.
Baptism

Baptism is the first sacrament, welcoming us into God’s family. Through water and the Holy Spirit, we are cleansed of sin and reborn in Christ.
First Communion

First Communion is a joyful celebration where children receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time. It marks a special step in their faith journey, deepening their relationship with God.
Confirmation

First Confirmation is a sacred moment when young Catholics receive the Holy Spirit, strengthening their faith. It empowers them to live as witnesses of Christ’s love and serve others with courage.
Matrimony

Matrimony is a sacred covenant between a man and woman, blessed by God. It reflects Christ’s love for His Church and unites couples in a lifelong journey of faith, love, and mutual support.
Penance

Penance is a sacrament of healing where we encounter God’s mercy. Through sincere repentance, we receive forgiveness, reconcile with God, and renew our spiritual lives.
Holy Orders

This sacrament is for men who are called to serve the Church as deacons, priests, or bishops. It’s a sacrament of service and leadership, where they are ordained to guide, teach, and sanctify the faithful.
Anointing
the Sick

The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of healing and comfort. Through prayer and holy oil, Christ offers strength, peace, and grace to those facing illness or hardship.
